Privacy
DueCroft is an early-stage, independently run app for sharing household tasks, budgets and meal plans. It is in testing. This page explains what we store and why. Last updated 2 October 2026.
What we collect
- Your email address, name and password (the password is stored hashed by our auth provider, never in plain text).
- What you and your household add: tasks, comments, reminders, spend entries, budgets, categories and meal plans.
- Basic usage and page-view statistics from Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.
Who can see your data
- People in your household can see household tasks, budget and meals. Household admins can also see tasks marked private (“Just us two”).
- No one outside your household can see it through the app.
- The person running DueCroft can technically access the database to keep the service working. It is not used for anything else, and it is never sold or shared for advertising.
Where it lives
- Data is stored with Supabase (database and sign-in), in the UK/EU (London region).
- The site is hosted by Vercel. Reminder and invite emails are sent through Resend.
- The optional 4-digit PIN unlock is encrypted and stored only in your own browser. It is never sent to us.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile and sign-in; things you added to a shared household may remain for the rest of that household unless you ask for them to be removed too.
Please don’t store anything highly sensitive
DueCroft is an early test. Don’t put bank details, passwords or other highly sensitive information in tasks, comments or notes.
